How to Find Castle School

From the North - Take M5 to Junction 14, signposted Thornbury (A38). Turn off the A38 at Whitfield on to the B4061. Approaching Thornbury, turn right into Church Road (about half a mile past the Anchor Inn). Take the first right into Tilting Road and the school is at the end of the road.

From the South - Take the A38 from Bristol (or leave the M5 at the Almondsbury Interchange to join the A38 for Thornbury). Travel about 5 miles along the A38 to Alveston. Turn left at The Alveston House Hotel (traffic lights) and follow the B4061 into Thornbury. At the bottom of Thornbury High Street, branch left into Castle Street and go past Thornbury Castle and St Mary’s Church into Park Road. The school is about a quarter of a mile further along the road on the left.

From the East - Take the M4 to the Almondsbury Interchange, join the A38 and proceed as in (b) above.

From Wales - From the M4 take the M48 and immediately having crossed the old Severn Bridge, Thornbury is signposted from the exit. On reaching Alveston, turn left at T junction (opposite The Ship Inn) on to B4061 and proceed as in (b) above.
